Laila Ayad
Laila Ayad was most recently seen as Lydia in IAMA’s critically acclaimed production of “Reverb” at the Working Stage Theater.
Theatre credits include, LA: Bachelorette (IAMA), You Are Here (The Theater District), NY: TheatreworksUSA (National Tour), Why We Have a Body (Producer’s Club), Spring Awakening (Blue Heron Arts Center), A Bright Room Called Day (Studio Theater). Other favorites include Macbeth (RADA), Uncle Vanya (Strasberg Institute), As You Like It (Strasberg Institute), The Children’s Hour (PHTS), Once On This Island (BU).
She is a published author, a founding member of IAMA Theatre Company, and a founding member of Apple Girl Productions in New York, where she promoted and
challenged the position of female artists in the theatre by producing new works by female playwrights and directors. BFA, Tisch School of the Arts.
